About Us

Sarah is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts for the District of Columbia and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. She is a proud member of the D.C. Bar and long-time resident of Washington D.C. She has worked successfully on an array of cases in the District, in the areas of immigration, criminal, employment, personal injury, and civil rights. Sarah is an active member of the Alumni Harvard Club of Washington D.C. She is a notable alum of American University (Washington D.C.), Harvard University (Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, Department of Philosophy), & University of Edinburgh, School of Law, Department of Graduate Research (Scotland). She and her law partner started Shah Firm & Associates LLC on June 10, 2010. It has grown into a thriving firm serving multiple communities in the DMV area.
